我装的是fedora4,其中有eclipse程序,但一运行到出现编辑窗口就死机,已经重新安装过eclipse,但还是一样,情大虾帮忙,谢谢!

First, Do not use gij JVM embeded in Linux, it is advised to download an new version on sun website;
Second, Pls Check your environment variaty in Linux, you can input command line "vi /etc/profile.d/java.sh" and edit this file. then reboot your system and input command line "env" to check your environmental variaty correctly;
Third, There may be conflict between the version of Eclipse and that of JDK. For example, the latest JDK 1.5 update 5 do not surpport eclipse 3.1. This case will also cause your system down. In fact, this is my case. it is not resolved until I download a JDK 1.5 update 3.
Complete the abover 3 steps, then your "root" user can run eclipse smoothly. Enjoy it!

用root用户就会出现这种情况，用其他用户问题就解决了，呵呵

建议不要装FC4自带的eclipse和jdk，jre之类的。
装完系统后自己再装最新的比较好。
