装fedora 8. 分辨率老上不去。只能到 1280＊720。
我是显卡是ATI X1650, 显示器是philips190CW

驱动按这的说明装的：http://www.fedorafaq.org/#radeon，
这个驱动跟官方最新的433驱动应该是一样的。

装完后glxinfo | grep direct，显示结果是yes.

系统－－＞管理－－－＞显示－－＞硬件 选Generic LCD 1400*900,
重启没用。

改过xorg.conf的modelines，modes,重启黑屏，水平，垂直同步都改成显示器用户手册上的。
我用的是17的 xserver，　1280*720下compiz　3D没问题。


我已经弄了好长时间了，就是解决不了，很痛苦。 

能给出解决办法的兄弟绝不疼这100分，不能给出但明确告知fedora 8下不支持的也可以。
