用过QT/E的请进来

我刚才安装了一个qt-embedded-free-3.3.4
安装过程是这样的：
cd /root/qt-embedded-free-3.3.4
export QTDIR=/root/qt-embedded-free-3.3.4
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/root/qt-embedded-free-3.3.4/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
./configure
make
完全安照文件包里的INSTALL文件说明做的。
又把系统启动为frambuffer模式 vga=0x31b
但是运行./start_demo时提示./start_demo Please run start_demo from the Linux Console, not from within X11.
又启动到字符模式再运行时又提示：[9;0]Cannot find font definition file /usr/lib/qt-3.1/lib/fonts/fontdir - is Qt installed correctly?
在X-window的终端里直接运行./launcher 也提示 [9;0]Cannot find font definition file /usr/lib/qt-3.1/lib/fonts/fontdir - is Qt installed correctly?
请问高手这是怎么回事？小弟现在要用QT/E做一个项目，愿意共同交流的留个MSN
