64位windows7，用VMware安装了ubuntu，出现kernel panic-not syncing : attempted to kill the idle task，求助怎么处理谢谢啦

这个问题大致网上查了下，众说纷纭，没有一个统一的标准。

下面贴出几种说法

1. 硬件内存问题，通过交换内容条解决(楼主是虚拟机、应该不是该问题)

2. 有一种情况，swap交换分区没有配置的时候，
也会出现”kernel panic – not syncing : attempted to kill init”，已在RHEL6.2_64bit上测试。

不知道楼主安装linux的时候分区什么的是采用默认设置，还是自定义的？

I meet this issue too.
My platform: WIN7 64, VMware v7.1,

I tried install Ubuntu 14 and Fedora 20, both meet this issue. After I use VMware 10.0.2, This issue is gone.
So I think it should be VMware issue.

换个VMware版本，我用VMware® Workstation  10.0.0 build-1295980可以
