你可以试用smp内核看看对不对

dualcore is treated as smp,use kernel with 'smp' in the name or you can compile yourself
in vmware you don't need to care
if you want install linux directly,check this out:

直接装就可以了，会自动编译成两个cpu的内核的。不过linux最好是最新的 。
